Sparkling clean glass on the wood stove

As the days are now reaching a daily temperature high that starts with a 1, rather than a 2 or a 3 I’ve started thinking about the colder months and making sure I am all set up when the roll round. One of the main things for this is he wood stove, nothing surpasses a roaring fire when you come in from a snowy dog walk.

Anyway the new woodstacker is built to help keep the snow off, and today I cleaned the glass on the front of the stove, and I have to say that after googling how best to approach this the old house wives trick of vinegar and newspaper came up trumps and worked a charm.

I had a kind of grayed out area, but it came off with little effort, If I’d known it was going to be this easy I would have done it months ago.
