Thoughtful Thursday

Very busy week this week so not much blogging, still away from home and working long days, looking forward to getting back at the end of the month.  My 3 week trip is past 6 weeks and still counting.

Mixed emotions with the people I’m working with over the last few days, one guy had to leave as he tragically lost his son, whilst  a couple of days later another got a call from home to say he was going to be the proud father of a baby boy.  It all seemed quite poignant and as I missed missed wordless Wednesday, I thought I would do a ‘Thoughtful Thursday’ for the first time with a quote I read on a wall and has stuck with me ever since;

I think that with so much media coverage based around people who really haven’t done that much and draw attention based on appearance or “look at me” acts of self promotion rather than character content this quote appealed to me when I read it earlier. 

Thats not to say I have no interest in anyone else in the public and I would be a liar if I said so, but I still like the quote!
